  • Manage existing commodity portfolios, establish quality customer relationships, and deliver differentiated banking facilities and financial solutions
  • Develop the business and achieve business objectives by identifying and exploring new commodity customer
  • Prepare credit applications in compliance with bank's policies, guidelines and industry regulations.
  • Cross-sell the Bank's full range of financial services proactively to exceed customer expectations
  • Monitor account performance to ensure good utilization of facilities and proper control of credit and operational risks
  • Connect the team with the overall strategic direction, and ensure execution against set objectives
  • Coach junior staff and back up other team members to achieve overall team target


  • Degree holder in Banking, Economics, Finance, International Trade, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years credit/marketing experience with not less than 4 years relevant experience in commodity or trade finance with international banks
  • Sound knowledge of various types commodities and trade finance products
  • Strong business acumen, able to analyze and interpret business and financial data
  • Experience in dealing with PRC clients and traveling in China
  • Experience in dealing with regional & global commodity clients will be added advantage
  • Customer-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a tenacity to succeed and accountable for results
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
