The Investment Management Operations Change-The-Bank (CTB) group provides Program/Project Management for major Investment Management programs requiring globally coordinated execution across Operations, Information Technology, Legal & Compliance and Front Office teams such as Portfolio Management, Trading, Sales, and Marketing. The main drivers for typical initiatives are firm/business strategic initiatives, operating leverage, regulatory reform and market/industry changes.

The role requires strong execution skills in business analysis, project management, cross-area governance, planning and implementation. It will currently involve the participation in, contribution to and ongoing management of, several regulatory reform initiatives. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are critical, experience in regulatory reform analysis and implementation is advantageous. The role will require understanding regulatory reform and documentation and resultant engagement with global business partners at all levels across the spectrum of Operational and non-Operational functions and business groups. An excellent knowledge of the financial services industry is necessary and Investment Management Operations experience and subject matter expertise in various functional areas is advantageous.

The candidate will have the following responsibilities and associated skills:
Program Management
Creation of materials for project charters, governance models, workstream structures, key dependencies, risk logs etc.
Management of work plan development, requirements collection, issues, risks and scope changes throughout all phases of the projects
Analysis and impact assessment of regulatory directives, understanding and conversion to business requirements
Working with stakeholders to prioritise work and drive milestones to completion,
Project plan tracking and status reporting
Develop and execute UAT test plans including documentation, tracking, issues management, status reporting
Design and implement process and control frameworks
Identification, management and escalation of risks and issues to Program/Project Manager
Organisation and maintenance of Program/Project documents

Business Process Definition, Analysis & Solution Design
Ability to analyse, understand and assess regulatory requirements
Ability to gather, analyse, understand and document business requirements
Ability to assess and document current and future state requirements and obtain required sign-offs
Ability to document future state process flows, incorporating requirements and obtain stakeholder/sponsor validation
Ability to document high-level road map for coordinating the migration to a future state process
Operate with detail orientated analytical skills

Communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Strong documentation skills

Relationship Management
Interact with managers to help define and document project objectives, governance and priorities within the scope of the project/program/initiative
Interface with key stakeholders, sponsors and other senior management to confirm program/project sponsorship/support, strategic alignment, and report progress, achievements, significant issues and risks.

Required
Would expect that likely candidates may have developed the necessary competencies in a similar role over a five to seven year period in Change Management, Project Management, or Investment Operations project experience
