This individual is expected to contribute to the financial success of SF Americas by providing innovative and value added financing while at the same time reducing the risk to the bank by using a structured approach; thereby maximizing customer profitability from client relationships in the Americas.

To maximize Customer Profitability from Client Relationships in CIB Americas, providing innovative and value added financing while at the same time reducing the risk to the bank by using a structured approach.

To establish a reputation as a premier Shipping Finance/Structured Finance Bank in the Americas by increasing market penetration and obtaining a greater share of the target opportunities in the region.

Head, Structured Finance Americas Support
Provide the Head, Structured Finance Americas with day-to-day business and administrative support
Global Structured Finance Team Support
Support the Global Shipping Finance team, Structured Finance team and/or Aviation team wherever transactions have an Americas leg or connection.
Business Support
Ensure a continuous accountability for credit risk of Structured Finance/ Shipping Finance/ Aviation Finance customers and operational risks of SF transactions.
Maintain a continuous dialogue with RM's, Operations, Legal, Credit, Governance, Compliance, Finance, Tax and external advisors to ensure that all aspects of due diligence, audit, conduct and compliance are monitored and controlled.
Ensure that the Shipping Finance business in the Americas is written within the approved parameters of the Shipping Finance Underwriting Standards.
Ensure that Aviation business in the Americas is written within the approved parameters of the Aviation Finance Underwriting Standards.
Ensure that any Principal Structured Finance business is conducted, implemented and executed in full compliance of and recognition of Regional and Group underwriting standards and business protocols.
Contribute to the implementation of the Wholesale Bank Strategy and Business Plans specific to the Shipping Finance, Structured Finance and Aviation businesses in the Americas.
Contribute to skills development of colleagues in the region by sharing knowledge, experience & expertise.

Knowledge and Skills

* Knowledge of Shipping/ Finance/ Structured Finance and Corporate Finance Products (to be developed in position), risk assessment decision making skills, analytical skills, problem solving mindset, and the ability to develop strong business relationships.
* A sound understanding of transactional and structural risks including credit risks (bank/ corporate), country & cross-border risk, documentations risk, operational risk, performance risk and market risk.
* Knowledge of internal risk policies and procedures.
* Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team of professionals and to manage a project efficiently.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
