Customer Consultant - Enterprise Solutions
Position Summary
The Customer Consultant is responsible for delivering business and technical consulting services across the Enterprise Solutions portfolio, supporting clients throughout the entire lifecycle from opportunity qualification and solution design to implementation and value realization.
The role combines deep expertise in financial market data, enterprise workflows, solution architecture, and technical integration. The consultant acts as a trusted advisor to clients, partnering closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to drive revenue growth, successful delivery, and high client satisfaction.
This role supports both pre-sales and post-sales engagements across North APAC, with a particular focus on Real-Time Data Solutions, Data Platforms, APIs, Cloud Delivery, and Enterprise Integrations.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pre-Sales Consulting
- Partner with Sales teams to identify, qualify, and progress Enterprise opportunities.
- Understand client business challenges and translate requirements into scalable solution designs.
- Lead discovery workshops, solution discussions, client presentations, and technical demonstrations.
- Develop solution proposals, statements of work, and consulting recommendations.
- Position the value of LSEG Enterprise Data, Real-Time Solutions, Cloud Services, and Analytics capabilities.
- Support RFPs, RFIs, due diligence activities, and complex deal pursuits.
- Act as the domain expert during client evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Design enterprise-scale data and workflow solutions aligned with client business objectives.
- Define technical architectures involving APIs, cloud deployment, streaming services, and data distribution platforms.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to address solution gaps and client-specific requirements.
- Assess implementation complexity, dependencies, risks, and recommended delivery approaches.
- Lead consulting engagements and implementation projects for Enterprise clients.
- Provide business consultancy on data coverage, content utilization, workflow optimization, and standard processes.
- Support project governance, partner management, and delivery oversight.
- Conduct solution reviews and recommend enhancements to improve client value realization.
- Resolve complex business and data-related issues during implementation and production usage.
- Partner with Customer Success and Account Management teams to drive adoption, expansion, and retention opportunities.
- Provide expertise on:
- Real-Time Market Data Platforms
- Streaming and WebSocket APIs
- REST APIs and Data Delivery Solutions
- Cloud-based Data Distribution
- Enterprise Data Platforms
- Data Feeds and Managed Services
- Content Integration and Mapping
- Third-party Platform Integration
- Support clients in designing and implementing scalable integration architectures.
- Guide clients through performance, entitlement, content, and operational considerations.
- Build trusted relationships with business, technology, operations, and market data customers.
- Work closely with Product Management to advocate for client requirements and market opportunities.
- Partner with Consulting, Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to drive successful outcomes.
- Influence strategic clients and senior interested parties through subject-matter expertise and thought leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related rigor.
- Experience in Financial Market Data, Enterprise Solutions, FinTech, Consulting, or Technology Services.
- Strong understanding of:
- Market Data and Reference Data
- Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Funds and Derivatives
- Enterprise Data Consumption Models
- APIs and Integration Technologies
- Cloud-based Data Solutions
- Data Architecture and Distribution
- Experience engaging directly with business and technical partners.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interested party management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, market data infrastructure, or financial workflow solutions.
- Knowledge of LSEG Data Platform, Workspace, Real-Time Data, DSS, Tick History, Pricing and Reference Services, or Analytics solutions.
- Familiarity with:
- REST APIs
- WebSocket APIs
- Python
- SQL
- Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Data integration and ETL frameworks
- Consulting experience in financial institutions, wealth management, exchanges, brokers, asset managers, or fintech firms.
