What the job involves

Our client is looking to add a German speaking investor to cement their presence in the DACH region. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for sourcing and overseeing deals from start to finish, establishing a strong network in the region, and providing support to the existing portfolio. The team is entrepreneurial at heart and you will collaborate with skilled professionals in a dynamic environment. • Build out a strong DACH network with industry experts, entrepreneurs, venture and growth capital peers and advisors
• Take ownership over deal origination and execution, from due diligence, negotiation, to documentation and work stream co-ordination
• Actively oversee portfolio companies, and assume board advisory positions as needed to assist management teams and facilitate growth

Who we are looking for

• Prior investment banking, private equity or growth investment experience, ideally in the B2B software or fintech space
• A genuine passion for innovation, entrepreneurship and the technology sector
• Fluent in German and English is a must
• Detail-orientated personality with exceptional analytical skills
• High level of independence and a bias for action is essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
