We are looking for a Senior Manager, Information Compliance- Privacy & AI Governance to join or Legal, Compliance & Risk fnctionas part of the Information Compliance Team.



This senior individal contribtor role is designed for alegal/privacy professional with strong exposre to technology, AI, data-driventools, and digital bsiness models. Yo do not need to be an engineer or have atechnical degree, bt yo shold be comfortable discssing data flows,AI-enabled workflows, SaaS/clod tools, access rights, retention, vendorintegrations, and technical and organizational measres with engineers, IT,secrity, data/AI teams, consltants, and bsiness stakeholders.



The role balances two eqally important areas: core privacy andinformation compliance responsibility across the bsiness, and practical AIgovernance advisory for internal and client-facing se cases. Yo willtranslate GDPR/E privacy, confidentiality, contractal, and internal policyreqirements into pragmatic gidance, governance processes, and controls thatteams can implement.

How yo will create an impact:

Advise on privacy and data protection. Spport practical gidance on GDPR/E privacy, confidentiality, data se, retention, data sbject rights, vendor matters, data transfers, and privacy risk qestions.

Spport core privacy governance. Contribte to data protection impact assessments, transfer assessments, processing docmentation, policy pdates, incident/risk follow-p, training, and governance reporting.

Translate reqirements into controls. Trn legal, contractal, client confidentiality, and internal policy reqirements into clear control expectations and implementable gidance for bsiness and technology teams.

Review AI and data-driven se cases. Assess AI tools, workflows, data flows, vendor/tool docmentation, prompt and otpt handling, hman oversight, monitoring, escalation, and confidentiality safegards.

Partner credibly with technical teams. Work directly with engineers, IT, Information Secrity, data/AI teams, consltants, and prodct owners to nderstand how soltions work and help shape compliant, bsiness-friendly approaches.

Bild scalable governance. Develop practical playbooks, checklists, standards, and review patterns that help teams apply Privacy by Design, Governance by Design, Secrity by Design, and Responsible AI principles consistently.

Abot yo:

5-8+ years of relevant experience in data protection, privacy, technology law, AI governance, legal/compliance, information compliance, or a related field.

Legal backgrond reqired, for example throgh legal training, a degree in law or bsiness law, an LL.M., qalification as Wirtschaftsjrist/in, or comparable professional experience in data protection, privacy, technology law, or compliance.

Strong nderstanding of GDPR, E privacy reqirements, confidentiality obligations, and risk-based compliance. Familiarity with German data protection reqirements is a pls.

Experience advising on technology-related legal or compliance topics, ideally in a technology company, startp, conslting firm, SaaS environment, digital bsiness, or technology-focsed professional services environment.

Technology flency and criosity: able to discss data flows, AI-enabled workflows, SaaS/clod tools, access rights, retention, logging, vendor integrations, and technical and organizational measres with technical teams.

Practical familiarity with AI or generative AI se cases and related legal/privacy risks, inclding data sorcing, prompt and otpt handling, hman oversight, vendor se, confidentiality, and monitoring.

Strong jdgment, stakeholder management, and commnication skills, with the ability to balance legal risk, bsiness needs, practical implementation, and responsible innovation.

Professional flency in English and at least one additional E langage is reqired. German langage skills are a pls bt not reqired.
