About our client

Our client is a leading investment firm with more than 25 years of experience with EUR >500 million AUM. Their investment strategy focuses on supporting and driving growth and value creating strategies; the business is well-funded, has enjoyed significant recent deal success in the DACH market and is looking to build on this by expanding the investment team further. They are keen to meet outstanding candidates at Associate level who could join their dynamic team in Frankfurt, Germany.

This is an exciting opportunity for junior investment professionals to join a successful and driven team with great exposure and high responsibility from the start, as well as access to an international network of industry experts across a broad range of sectors. What the job involves

• Involvement in all elements of the private equity deal cycle
• Work closely with other members of the team to research specific DACH regions and originate investment opportunities
• Screening of opportunities, due diligence execution and full involvement in the process through to closure and post-investment portfolio management

Who we are looking for

• Initial experience in strategy consulting with a focus on value creation; alternatively gained in a M&A boutique, investment bank, audit firm, software / tech firm, healthcare business
• Strong educational record (bachelor's or master's degree) in the field of Finance, Business or Economics
• Strong drive and motivation
• Stand-out analytical and technical skills (analysis, modelling and process management)
• First-class commercial judgement as well as a dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset
• Native German and fluent English are essential
