Manager/Senior Manager, Finance - Macquarie Capital, Frankfurt

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance professional to provide first-hand support to the Macquarie Capital business and the Head of AEA Europe, in Frankfurt.

This will be a key role in the EMEA Finance team, where you will be required to provide revenue related support by presenting monthly management reporting to the Region Head, and maintaining deal pipeline through regular dialogue and discussion with deal teams across the region. Additionally, you will provide Annual Financial Statement and Tax Reporting support for the various business entities in Frankfurt, including VAT returns reporting, trade tax and Bundesanzeiger.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of accounting concepts and revenue recognition requirements under IFRS, as well as experience of dealing with local tax authorities, regulatory bodies and external consulting firms for the purposes of filing company taxes and supporting the Head of Region by reporting on the same. As such, you will be familiar with the local regulations & formalities and with the BAFIN & Bundesbank. You will also be the local point of contact to assist within Macquarie to resolve payment issues and invoicing queries. You will ideally have an accountancy qualification (either CIMA or CA) and strong stakeholder management skills. Attention to detail, German language proficiency (reading and writing) and good communications skills will be key requirements.
