We are partnering with a global advisory firm with a strong presence across Asia, supporting financial institutions and investors on strategic transactions, transformation, and value creation initiatives.
The team focuses on delivering end-to-end solutions across growth strategy, M&A, and post-deal execution. They work closely with banks, insurers, asset managers, and private capital providers, combining industry expertise with data-driven insights to support complex decision-making and implementation.
This role sits within the Hong Kong team and offers exposure to high-impact projects across North Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead execution of M&A and strategic engagements, managing multiple workstreams from initial analysis through to delivery.
Develop financial models, strategic frameworks, and senior-level presentations to address complex business challenges.
Support transaction-related work including due diligence, integration planning, and value creation initiatives.
Work closely with clients to implement solutions across operating model design, cost optimization, and transformation programs.
Mentor junior team members and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Contribute to business development through proposal preparation and identifying opportunities within existing client relationships.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or in-house strategy/corporate development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with solid financial modelling experience.
Proven ability to manage projects independently and engage with senior stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience within financial services is essential; exposure to transactions, strategy, or transformation work is highly preferred.
Background in areas such as deal strategy, due diligence, post-merger integration, or growth strategy is advantageous.
Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline; MBA or CFA is a plus.
Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese would be beneficial.
