Description
We are looking for an Audit Associate to join our leading team in Cork. In this role you will take a lead role in audit assignments, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards while building strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with planning of audits, including staffing and deadlines
• Attend client audit planning meetings
• Prepare financial statements and present high quality work papers
• Plan, control and review the work of the audit team
• Deploy and delegate to staff effectively
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them in practice
• Complete Audit files; bring assignments to completion
• Achieve time budgets and meet deadlines
• Responsible for coaching of and providing feedback to trainees
Key Requirements
• Qualified accountant ACCA/ ACA/ CPA
• Some industry audit experience in a Big 4 practice environment
• Technical proficiency in IFRS and FRS 102
• Experience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationships
Additional Requirements
• Ability to provide guidance and feedback to others
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Managing Processes and good organisation skills to
