Team Profile:
The Legal Entity Control Group (LEC) is responsible for the financial management and control of the Firm's legal entities. We are a well-established team in Glasgow that currently manages over 500 London and New York based entities. This team is responsible for preparing audited and unaudited statutory financial statements; management accounts; US Federal Reserve entity level reporting; and other reporting for senior management when requested. We are also responsible for ensuring that standard monthly and quarterly financial reporting controls and validations operate correctly.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understanding FINREP data model and policy requirements
- Completion of a number FINREP templates in line with Regulator requirements
- Reconciliation to monthly management / financial accounts
- Presentation to management of key reporting results
- Managing relationships across stakeholder groups and subject matter experts in Finance, Technology and Projects
- Data management for FINREP templates including reduction of data gaps and quality control checks
- Analytical review of and preparation of management information to support the FINREP submission
- Developing ongoing requirements supporting projects
Skills Required:
- Candidates for the role should have accountancy experience
