A Global Financial Services Firm are looking for a Financia Accountant to join their Glasgow Office for an initial 6 month contract.
The team are responsible for preparing certain financial disclosures of the Firm. These disclosures are produced in accordance with multiple accounting frameworks (US GAAP and IFRS) as well as preparation of components of Financial Regulatory reporting required by the Federal Reserve, the Prudential Regulatory Authority and the European Banking Authority
Primary Responsibilities:
* Prepare Firm US GAAP financial reporting alongside related Financial Regulatory and Legal Entity disclosures
* Prepare commentary and analysis to support the disclosures
* Monitor your progress against disclosure production timetables
* Respond to review questions raised on disclosures
* Communicate and escalate to line management
* Present disclosures and analytics to internal stakeholders
* Maintain written procedures documents
* Respond to requests from the Firm's external auditors
