Description of the Business Line or Department
The Hedge Fund pricing team is in charge of:
-Answer to client's pricing requests and regulatory obligations associated
-Interaction with trading to assess product's risks, define pricing parameters and modelling
-Work in partnership with the sales force to understand and answer client needs and requirements
-Idea generation for sales commercial animation, renewal and improvement of the product offering
-Meeting client if required by the sales person
-Work with Trading to understand the risks sitting in the books, and design innovative product that makes sense to client while offseting these risks
Summary of the key purposes of the role
Risk assessment:
Understanding the products, the associated risks and sensitivities, in order to put a fair price on the product requested, without putting the bank at risk.
-Pricing of products
Be quick, efficient, autonomous and rigorous when answering pricing requests
Show stress management and prioritization capabilities
-Idea generation, pitchbook building
Be pro-active, innovative
Show understanding of the client businesses and needs
-Code of conduct and awareness
Behave ethically and in client best interests, in full awareness of our regulatory and legal obligations
Summary of responsibilities 
Will manage pricing requests and competitive biddings in an autonomous manner
-Being able to deliver on any addition regulatory obligations related to the business conducted by each of the sales person covered, on timely manner
-Will work in partnership with the sales force in order to provide the best coverage possible to the clients
-Will participate to innovation effort of the team, creating and testing new ideas and solutions to pitch to our clients.
-Will work in a transparent way with structuring, marketing, trading, COO, Compliance) and all other function of his business line, making sure the information is transmitted efficiently and when appropriate
-Will provide help to his fellow team members when needed in order to maintain the highest level of service for the clients at the team level.
-Will take any reasonable measure to make sure that business is done in accordance with the highest ethical standards, always keeping the client best interests as the primary driver.
