Job Description
My client a leading growing IT business are looking to hire a Management Accountant to join the team on a temporary basis to support the finance function
The role will be responsible for the following:
- Year and month end duties
- Revenue recognition and accounting.
- Control and recognition of revenue.
- Responsible for balance sheet reconcilations, cost accruals, intercompany postings etc.
- Analysis of revenue margins.
- Global preparation of monthly reports.
- Supporting and dealing with auditors and complaince.
- Cash flow forecasting
- Support with any other ad hoc tasks such as process improvements, systems improvements and projects
Skills and Experience Required:
- Part qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ACMA or equivalent)
- Must have experience with Revenue accounting and deferred revenue concept.
- Strong systems experience including Excel
- Experience within a tech business would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail
