As an EX Map Data & Product Operations Associate at JPMorganChase within the Employee Experience Product team, you will own the repeatable operational processes that keep the Employee Experience Map - a data-driven, interactive product - accurate, complete, timely, and ready for use. You will coordinate data sourcing, transformation, mapping, validation, testing, and release readiness, while building the controls, documentation, and service-management practices needed to operate the product sustainably at scale. Your work will directly enable better decision-making, reduce friction for employees across the firm, and anchor product, process, and technology decisions in real employee experience data.

Job responsibilities

• Coordinate the sourcing of tactical datasets by establishing clear intake requirements for each source, including expected format, granularity, ownership, frequency, completeness, and delivery status
• Maintain a source inventory and data dictionary for all supporting files, ensuring documentation remains current and accessible to stakeholders
• Create and maintain monthly mapping files, including an auditable log of additions, removals, mapping changes, overrides, source changes, and transformation decisions
• Partner with technology and data teams to evolve spreadsheet-based processes toward strategic, sustainable data connections that reduce manual effort and increase reliability
• Define and execute data-quality checks covering completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and validity to ensure data is fit for product use
• Develop, maintain, and execute data-focused test cases for new releases, monthly refreshes, and changes to transformation logic, supporting end-to-end release readiness
• Identify operational processes where AI could reduce manual effort or increase consistency, and lead human-review and quality-assurance processes for AI-generated outputs
• Own and continuously improve the EX Map data operating model, including recurring calendars, checklists, hand-offs, approvals, escalation routes, and service expectations
• Maintain standard operating procedures for data sourcing, transformation, mapping, testing, and release hand-off, updating documentation whenever files or workflows change
• Support launch and post-launch readiness activities, including feedback capture, early-life support, issue triage, and operational stabilization

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Strong experience in data operations, product operations, business operations, or a comparable data and product-focused role
• Demonstrated ability to source, reconcile, transform, and validate data from multiple systems and data owners
• Advanced spreadsheet and data manipulation capability, with strong attention to mapping logic, formats, thresholds, exceptions, and auditability
• Experience creating and operating repeatable standard operating procedures, controls, checklists, and quality-assurance processes
• Practical experience with user acceptance testing, regression testing, test-case preparation, defect management, and release readiness
• Ability to translate product requirements and user needs into clear operational and data requirements
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating data-quality issues or discrepancies between source, transformed, and displayed data
• Ability to manage multiple dependencies and coordinate across product, technology, analytics, research, and data-owner teams
• Strong written communication and documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and audience-appropriate materials

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience with analytics and feedback platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Qualtrics
• Familiarity with workflow or data transformation tools such as Alteryx
• Experience with backlog management tools and working within technology delivery teams using agile methodologies
• Familiarity with AI controls, human-in-the-loop review processes, evaluation datasets, and output-quality monitoring
