Senior Full Stack Engineer
Y Combinator-graduated company are looking for an experienced full stack senior engineer to head up a new team which will be responsible for taking their platform to the next level. You'll need a proven track record of designing and executing technical product roadmaps. You'll also need a deep insight into how to design, build and ship software that impacts the bottom line. Experience leading a small engineering team before would be a bonus.
Experience building large-scale Java/Kotlin/Javascript applications and a deep understanding of the APIs that power them Their UI is powered from their public APIs, so attention to detail and caring deeply about the customer experience is a must. A significant part of the role will be customer-facing; leading product demos and helping potential customers evaluate the product. They deploy often (several times a day).
Requirements: - 5+ years' commercial experience with Java
- Expert knowledge in HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience building great applications with UX in mind
- Experience with restful APIs
- Skilled at debugging and optimization
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science
Bonus: - Experience with JS frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue
- Interested in visualizing complex and time-series data
