Key Responsibilities
Qualifications

The team advises debtors, creditors, sponsors, and other stakeholders on in-court and out-of-court restructurings, recapitalizations, distressed financings, and strategic alternatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an established restructuring banker looking to take on greater leadership responsibilities while remaining highly involved in transaction execution, client management, and junior team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of complex restructuring and special situations transactions.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and serve as a key point of contact for senior executives, investors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee financial analysis, valuation work, liquidity forecasting, recovery analyses, and restructuring modeling.
- Advise clients on liability management transactions, distressed financings, recapitalizations, and strategic alternatives.
- Coordinate workstreams across internal and external parties to drive successful transaction outcomes.
- Assist in business development efforts, including pitch preparation, client presentations, and marketing initiatives.
- Mentor and develop Associate and Analyst team members while maintaining high-quality execution standards.
- Participate in negotiations and strategic discussions with clients, creditors, sponsors, and other constituencies.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of investment banking experience with a significant focus on restructuring advisory.
- Current or recent experience in an Investment Banking Restructuring group is required.
- Vice President title or high-performing Associate ready for promotion will be considered.
- Strong experience advising on Chapter 11 restructurings, out-of-court restructurings, liability management transactions, distressed M&A, and/or special situations mandates.
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to lead transaction execution and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build credibility with senior executives and investors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional designation is a plus.
