The Role

Key Responsibilities:

One of the key accountabilities for this role is the development and implementation of a strategy for Group Technology risk management to increase the risk maturity of Group Technology, enabling proactive and effective risk management which drives a sustainable uplift in risk performance and culture. You will work towards aligning the Group Technology risk strategy to IAG risk strategy, developing and implementing plans to increase the controls and assurance maturity of Group Technology, reducing residual risk and enabling effective controls management. You will also have experience of managing operational risk technology platforms (and other platforms as appropriate) with your domain.
At a Senior leadership level, you will contribute to both Group Technology and IAG performance with insights, collaborative input and expertise that promotes value creation, innovation and improved performance.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' experience of implementing risk, control and assurance frameworks within large organisations, preferably within the financial services sector
  • Experience of managing operational risk technology platforms (and other platforms as appropriate) with your domain
  • You will have a solid track record as a senior leader within a digital technology function
  • Experience as a sponsor and contributor to major programs of work
