Your role and working environment

Within the Consumer Loans tribe, we're responsible for all ING products in the area of consumer loans and cash facilities in Belgium and the Netherlands. Millions of retail customers use our products every day. With our mission of 'supporting (simple) financing needs for private customers', we want to ensure that customers can borrow responsibly. For the years ahead, ING has ambitious goals for Consumer Loans in the areas of harmonising the product range between the Netherlands and Belgium, commercial growth, responsible lending to customers and applying innovation to consumer loans.
As Chapter Lead, you'll be responsible for a chapter that consists of around seven Customer Journey Experts. In addition, you'll work as a squad member where you'll help a squad achieve their specific goal.
As Chapter Lead Consumer Loans
• You will contribute to developing the area of IT-Business within ING on a strategic, tactical and operational level, where collaboration and customers' interests are always a priority for you.
• You will develop your vision for Consumer Loans and you will have an overview of all business and IT factors necessary for executing your strategy.
• You will take the lead in initiatives that aim to give new and existing ING customers a fantastic customer experience.
• You will be happy to offer your expertise and develop this: you will actively receive and share relevant insights and developments within your field of expertise/chapter.
• You will be a culture carrier by being an example of and encouraging new ways of working - from "an organisation of talking" to an "organisation of doing".

What are we looking for?
You are driven leader who excels in the field of customer journey development and the collaboration between business and IT. You have knowledge of consumer loans as well as experience of managing professionals. You are very strong on a strategic, tactical and operational level and you understand customers' wishes and needs like no other and how to achieve these in IT delivery. You are a high flyer in terms of communication and organisation and you stand out in stakeholder management. In addition, you can't wait to get started in a tribe with ambitious goals in the areas of harmonising the Consumer Loans product range in Belgium and the Netherlands as well as achieving commercial growth with sustainable products.
Furthermore, you also have:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent through experience
• At least 8 years' experience in relevant positions, in which you have proven to be successful in process improvements or product innovations with a customer impact
• At least 2 years' experience as in people management
• Experience of working together with IT
