Job Summary / Job Purpose

  • Analyze business requirement and handle the implementation of the new requirements

  • Manage bank IT projects


Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Tasks

Technical consulting

  • Provide advice and best practices for technical areas such as data structure, configuration and architectures etc.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and performance analysis for reports, stored procedures, interface etc.
  • Provide technical support for interfaces, reports, extracts and conversions.
  • Perform small development tasks: Unix, Oracle…
Business Analysis
  • Lead and help business user to raise requirement and prepare requirement spec
  • Able to interpret business requirements and link them to system setup. Identify the gaps between the system capacity and users' needs, review and confirm solution with vendors
  • Lead business users to review the requirements and approve all the documents on behalf of business users for each stage of the design and implementation. Contribute in functional designs, user impact analysis, training plans and materials and communications; assist to identify conformance to business controls (regulatory, auditing & security, delegation & authorities) and recommend or report deviations for approval
  • Manage the End-user Training plan and prepare / support preparation of training materials
  • Lead the users to prepare SIT/UAT plan, test scripts, test data, and conduct tests, and report results
Project Management
  • Single point of contact for sponsor on a given project
  • Manage project scope and project plan and share status with related stakeholders
  • Ensure the coordination among IT teams, other departments and external vendors
  • Is responsible for implementing projects successfully covering schedule, cost and quality


Candidate Profile

Academic Background (degree and major)

Bachelor or Master's degree in business, Information technology, finance

Working Experience / Technical Skills & Know how

4 - 5 years experience in major banks or consulting company on banking or financial sector

  • Knowledge of banking processes and processes description methodology
  • Ability to understand the needs of the end users in banking context and solve routine problems independently

  • Good analytical skill and problem solving skills

Language Skills

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, documentation and deliverables to be drafted both in English or Chinese.
