Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international energy trading house looking to hire a head of cross commodity trading to lead the energy desk.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Lead the trading activities and strategies across the power and gas markets
- Partner with existing team members to expand and develop the European power set up
- Responsible for onboarding and developing new business within structured products and flow business
- Trade a proprietary portfolio across energy products as well as managing client flows
- Role reports into VP of Trading
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a senior or head power and gas trading position
- Ability to lead and further develop a team of traders and middle office analysts (currently a team of 5 people)
- Experience and profitable track record running your own proprietary trading portfolio as well as managing client flows
- Strong analytical, communication and negotiating skills
- Located in Denmark or happy to relocate
