Application Administrator (m/f/x) Division Shared Services
Your tasks - Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 tickets for the different web-based applications in a timely manner
- Interpret system errors at a basic level & assess the risk of events and escalate appropriately to protect client services
- Monitor designated applications and infrastructure, take corrective actions to prevent or minimize errors or even system down times
- Provide application performance tuning
- Work with L2/L3 team and Business/System Specialists
- Provide the application support toward installation, maintenance of the systems, patches and the new releases as directed including tests
- Plan and execute all required steps as defined during the systems maintenance
- Create and maintain the operational documentation and knowledgebase articles for the applications
- Create and maintain reports
Your profile - University degree or educational equivalent in computer science or information technology field, or several years of equivalent work experience
- Experience in Web-based application administration and configuration
- Experience with PKI is a plus
- Good understanding of ITIL concepts and AD integration
- Experience with high-availability concepts, basic Java, Puppet, RPM, subversion tools is a strong plus
- Hands on experience in process automation (e.g. recurring tasks, workflow), best practice approach, technology efficiency and effectiveness
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to plan and organize work and deliverables
- Professional dealing in difficult situations
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
