Java developer (m/f/x) - Core Trading

Core Trading Technology team in Berlin focuses on development of low latency electronic trading platform and services for FX, Rates&Credit, Listed Derivates businesses. We work on super fast market data feeds, connectivity to exchanges and other electronic venues, algo pricing and trading, order management systems and frameworks; we capture petabytes of data and power analytics for traders and quants.

As a Junior Java developer you will be developing components of electronic trading platform and see in action full lifecycle of big business critical systems - from architecture and design to implementation and level 3 production support.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with the senior team members and business partners to elaborate details of business requirements
• Develop functionality and sub-components within our electronic trading estate based on provided business requirements
• Develop unit tests and automated integration tests
• Review other team member's code
• Collaborating with QA team on test automation and with Dev Ops on continues SDLC and environment management improvements

Your skills and experiences

• Good math and strong knowledge of algorithms and complexity
• Knowledge of core Java (collections, multi-threading, networking)
• Good experience working in software development teams, good experience with standard SDLC tools - JIRA/other issue tracking systems, GIT
• Basic knowledge of Linux, basic knowledge of SQL relational databases solutions, basic knowledge of messaging solutions
• Good written and spoken English
