Java developer (m/f/x) Core Trading

Position Overview

Our Berlin location is our most recent addition to our global network of tech centres and growing strongly. Our tech teams work agile in close coordination with our business units, jointly creating #GlobalHausbank solutions from our home market.
Together with the team you will work on a full life cycle of a product, from architecture design to implementation and level 3 production support. Primary focus will be on user interfaces and integrations with backend services.

Your key responsibilities

• Working on business and functional requirements, technical analysis and design. Contributing to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
• Prototyping new features, meeting business needs and solving challenging technical problems
• Reviewing other team member's code and mentoring junior developers
• Maintaining visual guidelines and consistency throughout the app
• Collaborating with QA team on test automation

Your skills and experiences

• Good math and strong knowledge of algorithms and complexity
• Well-founded experience with core Java
• Experience with ESNext, TypeScript with any modern front-end framework: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular
• Basic knowledge of browser APIs (Storage, Workers, Websockets, etc), basic understanding of web security principles, basic experience with SQL and non-SQL databases, basic knowledge of Linux
• Good written and spoken English, German as a plus
