Position Overview
Deutsche Bank actively evolves its electronic trading capabilities for Fixed Income and Currencies business. We design, build and continuously evolve our platform and surrounding ecosystem. It includes full front-to-back technological stack: physical and cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops, connectivity to markets around the globe (Exchanges, Electronic Connectivity Networks, etc), algo and order management frameworks, internal and external APIs, pricing and trading algorithms, risk management, data capture and data analysis capabilities, sophisticated UIs for end users and many other.
The firm relies on internal IT team working in tight collaboration with quant traders and front office to build this mission critical element of the Deutsche Bank's franchise. Great collaboration between IT and business and agile process enables us to meet the requirements in the most optimal manner and produce great product.

Position is opened in our leading ultra-low latency trading and pricing platform. Being globally distributed, complex, high-loaded and low-latency system, it requires high standards of testing and quality assurance.
We are looking for an experienced senior QA Automation Engineer, with a motivation and desire to become a team leader, ready to join the strong team of developers, QA and infrastructure engineers, take part in development of complex financial instruments. You'll will be a part of the development team based in Berlin. You will report to the team lead, and directly collaborate with business departments and both local and remote developers, analysts and project managers from partnering teams. Together with the team you will work on a full life cycle of a product, from architecture design to implementation and level 3 production support.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with BAs, QAs, UX, dev teams, project managers and business partners on requirements and test planning
• Perform exploratory, functional, regression, performance, and usability testing
• Design and develop automated tests
• Planning and maintaining Testing & UAT environments, assistance in UAT testing
• Actively contribute towards wider QA efforts and initiatives, contribute to maturing the overall QA model and SDLC processes

Your skills and experiences

• In-depth QA professional experience
• Experience with QA automation technologies for backend test automation - ideally Python and Java-based
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Good written and spoken English
