Automation as a Service Automation as a Service is a group specifically targeted at delivering digital products focused on delivering solutions in low-friction and easily consumable manner that benefits clients and operations for whom banking is not their core business but a service that they require. These offerings will deliver digital interfaces and capabilities to both internal and external clients to ensure a low-touch low-friction low-complexity approach.
You will have the opportunity to influence the design of complex platforms from "Day One" and help lead the teams to expand upon our platform to solve the technology challenges of tomorrow: providing automation solutions, building out components of our single-user interface portal our key-stone technology platform that is both internal and external client-facing. Our team is tasked with transforming the Corporate Bank on a distinctive portfolio of work introducing green-field technology and responsibilities that include transforming operational teams.
As a Senior Engineer - UI Developer (m/f/x) you will have a unique to join a team focused on expanding upon our platform to solve the technology challenges of tomorrow: providing automation solutions, building out components of our single-user interface portal our key-stone technology platform that is both internal and external client-facing. Your key responsibilities - Design elegant solutions to complex problems which satisfy user & non-functional requirements
- Engineer solutions to minimise occurrence & prevent recurrence of production issues and to facilitate reduced mean time to recovery
- Design & engineer solutions and services with embedded risk and security controls as mitigation against threats
- Work as part of an Agile delivery team, delivering modular, performant, reusable, documented, end to end tested solutions coded to current UI best development standards
- Mentor and educate junior developers in development best practices. Help create a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Build and participate in the wider UI community
Your skills and experiences - Effectively communicates complex messages in a clear and concise manner
- Enables experimentation and fast learning approaches to creating business solutions
- Experience in solution design tools and techniques with ability to make design decision trade-offs
- Expert in one or more technical domains applying commercial acumen in delivery approach
- Extensive experience working in an agile team (practicing Scrum, Kanban, XP or SAFE) to build modern web applications with websockets to REST principles using React (including modern features e.g. React Hooks) and Typescript. Experience with Redux, Puppeteer/Jest, Enzyme, NPM libraries (ag-grid, axios, moment, lodash) are nice to have.
