To support the ongoing growth of our German Subsidiary, we are looking for a

Finance Manager (m/w/d)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

Key Duties:

• Supporting the Regional Finance Manager on all finance related matters including producing, and analyzing monthly management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting, liaising with external stakeholders such as: accountants, banks, tax authorities etc.
• Working closely with the rest of the finance peers to drive process improvements and implement new tools
• Partner-working with the Finance team at head office, managing director and local departmental heads
• Advisory and technical support in financial and tax aspects of the R&D tax credit scheme

Other Responsibilities:

• Cashflow forecasting and management
• Preparing Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Monthly variance analysis
• Reporting and analysis of KPIs
• Assisting the Head of HR with payroll-related tasks
• Ad hoc reporting as and when required
• Manage Accounts Payable & -Receivable

Qualifications:

• Manage Accounts Payable & -Receivable
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years experience in finance
• Proficiency with current financial software
• Understanding of German GAAP
