  • Our client is an international real estate developer and manager based in the United States. As of 2023, the company had over $76 billion in gross assets under management and operates in 17 countries. For the German Head quarter in Frankfurt the position as Finance Manager was newly created to manage the German and Austrian region

Stellenbeschreibung

  • Portfolio reporting to investors and lenders, including monitoring and documentation of reporting requirements, timely external quarterly covenant compliance and investor reporting, and timely internal monthly performance reporting
  • Preparation of portfolio capital and return plans for new and existing investors, including preparation and recording of investor capital calls and distributions, coordination of capital requirements teams and inter-group distribution and management
  • Own asset/portfolio acquisitions and disposals, including managing relationships with external advisers, liaising with deal teams, reviewing and contributing to SPAs, reviewing and contributing to review and input into SPAs, review and input into purchase price mechanisms, review and input for the management agreements and acquisition accounting
  • Business partnering with internal teams, including investment, asset management, Portfolio Management.
  • Manage the annual audit process with external preparers of financial statements, including owning the relationship with local audit teams and input/review of consolidated financial statements prepared by external provider
  • Managing relationships with outsourced investment accounting providers (where applicable) and liaise with corporate administrators
  • Final review of the annual planning and budgeting process, ensuring compliance with pro forma models, alignment with operational and investment team vision and investor requirements
  • Technical and process accounting memos for corporate transactions and new reporting standards
  • Review and input into new portfolio and facility agreements
  • Manage ad-hoc requests from investors and stakeholders
  • Liaise with Centralised Asset Accounting team for timely preparation of operating and property entity management accounts
  • Liaise with Centralised Development Accounting team for development draws to support capital calls and timely preparation of development entity management accounts
  • Assist with the management of tax, legal, portfolio, allocation, conflicts, regulatory, filing and security deadlines for the portfolios
  • Assisting with the investment property valuation process, liaising with the valuation Portfolio and Centralised Development Accounting
  • Assist Centralised Corporate Accounting where local expertise is required, e.g. local audits
  • Prepares various financial, accounting, narrative, administrative and other reports and analyses and performs other duties as assigned or required for the successful execution of business plans

Profil

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Audit background and property experience
  • Qualified accountant with relevant qualification and experience
  • Basic accounting background with experience in preparing financial reports and entries
  • Profciency with Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience with financial accounting and property management software (Yardi experience is an advantage)
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP (HGB)
  • Experience in the property sector
  • Experience in debt compliance and investor reporting

Gehaltsinformationen

  • Depending on experience, the salary can be up to 100.000 Euro.
