Sales Director, Digital Wealth it's an exciting mandate to join a leading global asset manager at a pivotal moment of launching a new brand this year.You will be part of a leadership team of a full-service independent digital wealth management distribution platform (execution and advice) for independent financial advisors (IFAs), IFA networks & intermediaries starting with Germany. The ambition is to replicate this across the rest of the DACH region, Europe and beyond. Reporting to the Managing Director, Wealth EMEA and based anywhere in Germany, this appointment will work closely with the key stakeholders across the business

Sales Director will be accountable for growing the business by generating revenue, identifying & building growth relationships with new & existing clients, & leading the sales team to achieve the sales goals & targets.

Key aspects of the appointment:

Drive and develop the company’s revenue generating teams (sales, relationship management, leads generation) to grow revenue by increasing new sales, expanding relationships, and maximizing retention.

Lead and implement the sales strategy to align with the German market structure. Collaborate with internal leadership related to future product strategy to increase revenue with differentiating value propositions.

Build a sales strategy that encompasses selling all of firm’s digital offerings. Proactively seek out new opportunities in the market to expand out suite of digital services & embed them into our Sales funnel & process. Ensure the Sales team is familiar with the different digital solutions & how to best position those with our clients.

Develop and manage strategic partnerships and executive relationships (IFAs, WealthTechs, intermediaries, etc.). Engage with the firm’s clients as a company leader and advocate. Act as a spokesperson for the brand. Represent the company at conferences and social events to raise the profile and develop positioning of the firm with target audiences.

Mentor, develop and motivate a high-performing and highly engaged sales and relationship management team in skills, sales tactics and activities, product knowledge, teamwork, time and territory management, and competitive knowledge

Provide leadership over the sales department through mentoring, coaching & training. Examine growth opportunities, enable sales improvements, and taking responsibility for the department’s performance against targets

Manage sales budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting

This is a key appointment for the firm’s business development capability, and we are looking for an experienced sales professional with a solid track record selling a similar proposition to the financial advisors (IFAs), IFA networks & intermediaries in Germany, and possibly the rest of the DACH region. We are also looking for a sales leader with a track record of building and growing high performing sales teams hence it is crucial that this appointment is a strategic and tactical player coach. The desired candidate will have an entrepreneurial growth mindset and an ambition to innovate in order to increase firm’s market share across Germany and beyond.
