Our client, a private and well-established investment firm in the German Mittelstand based in Frankfurt with almost 35 years of experience, is now looking to hire an additional member to its investment team at either Analyst or Associate level. They focus on regional and international niche market leaders in healthcare, tech-enabled services and smart industries with emphasis on buy-and-build platforms.

What the job involves

• Proactive proprietary sourcing
• High value creation potentials & impact require strong entrepreneurial approach
• Close involvement in identifying, evaluating and executing investment opportunities from sourcing new investments to all aspects of deal execution
• High degree of responsibility from the start, working within a flat hierarchy

Who we are looking for

• Strong education record (bachelor's or master's degree) in the field of Finance, Business, Economics or Industrial engineering
• Prior professional M&A experience from top-tier/boutique investment bank, private equity or corporate M&A as well as consulting background
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in a mid-sized business
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial mindset with the strive for continuous personal development
• Native German speaker and excellent English skills are required
