Analysts & Associates, Well-Established Domestic Mid Cap Private Equity Team, Frankfurt, Germany

We are working with a very well-established private equity team, with a strong track record, whom invest on behalf of private and institutional investors. To strengthen their junior investment team, our client is looking to hire a number of new Analysts and Associates. The PE team is based just outside Frankfurt

Our client is a well-known mid-cap buyout firm, one of the most established providers of equity capital in the German-speaking region, with decades of experience in private equity. Since its inception, the company has invested approximately €1 billion on behalf of its investors, including institutions, foundations and trusts as well as notable entrepreneurial families. Targets typically have revenues between €50 and €250m, across most sectors. The investment strategy covers buyouts, growth capital, carve outs and acquisition financing, and may include take-private deals or pre-IPO investments as well, with a focus on the DACH region. The firm is now aiming to expand its junior team with several additional hires at Analyst and Associate level, offering a great chance for young professionals to build their investment career with some of the most experienced teams in the industry.


  • Work closely with the Senior Investment Professionals on all aspects of a transaction, from deal origination to execution and exit
  • Take responsibility for developing and screening investment opportunities, meeting and assessing management teams, and running major elements of the due diligence workstreams
  • Contribute to structuring and negotiating term sheets and contracts, whilst also preparing investment committee papers
  • Monitor portfolio investments, report on portfolio performance internally and attend meetings as a board observer

  • You display an outstanding track record throughout your whole academic career
  • Previous professional experience of transaction services or private equity transactions, from a leading investment bank, strategy consultancy, a Big 4 firm or other successful private equity firm
  • Excellent modelling skills, great commercial judgement and a genuine interest in the private equity market
  • Our client is looking for dynamic high-achievers with a down-to-earth working attitude and the drive to launch a long-term career in investments
  • A Native German language speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English as well
