You will serve as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for the Western Union International Bank in Germany and ensure that German AML/CFT regulatory requirements are adhered to. You'll be responsible for AML/CFT & Markets (incl. MiFID) Compliance for our business division in Germany, focusing on international FX payment services for SMEs and corporates. This includes hedging of FX currency risks with complex financial instruments (FX Forwards / Derivatives) in Germany and Switzerland, as well focusing on the Money Transfer and Retail FX business via the branch store network in Germany.
For this pivotal role, you will need to bring progressive experience in banking and/or payments compliance across AML / MiFID /Regulatory Affairs, in combination with leadership skills. You will have a degree in Law or Business Administration (or equivalent) and your German and English language skills are at professional level. You will be a strong negotiator with excellent presentation and problem-solving skills. Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is also desirable.
