Leading international alternative investment firm with c. $50bn AuM, operating across various asset classes, is looking for a new associate in its Private Equity Investment team.
Our client is a leading multi-billion European private equity fund, that wants to to expand its Private Equity investment team in Frankfurt by hiring a new associate. This private equity fund has a more than 30-year successful track record, is locally present in all European Markets and can invest fully flexibly along the capital structure. This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, fast growing and fun team.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Involvement in all aspects of the investment process, working closely with senior colleagues in very lean deal teams
- Active support with the origination, diligence, execution and monitoring of Europe fund investments in the DACH region
- Financial modelling, business analysis, synthesis of information, review of legal documentation, coordination of work streams as required and production of written materials (powerpoint presentation, investment committee memoranda, meeting notes amongst others)
YOUR PROFILE: - Substantial experience in the M&A or debt team within a top tier investment bank, or private equity experience in the mid / large cap space
- Top class research, analytical/modelling and quantitative skills with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong academic background
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - mature, confident interpersonal skills and natural gravitas
- Self-starter and "can-do" personality with high energy showing initiative and being comfortable in a flat organisation structure
- Native level German and fluent English are essential for this role
