Your team

 

As part of the Finance Department of Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG in Germany (“the Bank”), you will report to the Bank’s CFO. You will lead the three-person Financial Planning & Analysis team, which is responsible for providing top management with insightful information and analysis on the Bank’s performance. You will also drive the Bank’s forecasting, planning and budgeting process, in coordination with the Group.

Your role

 

You will lead the following initiatives:

 

• Enhancing the Management Information System (MIS) and reporting process. 
• Strengthening the Bank’s monthly performance analysis per business line (including the identification and monitoring of profitability drivers as well as implementation of activity-based costing, etc.) and budget monitoring.
• Improving the financial forecast capabilities and forward-looking analysis of the P&L, balance sheet and prudential ratios (including sensitivity analysis, scenarios, stress tests, etc.), in particular supporting the regulatory requirements (ICAAP/ILAAP, etc.) in collaboration with the Risk and Treasury departments.
• Strengthening the annual strategic planning and budgeting process with the Group and the different business lines.
   

 

Profile description:

Your profile

 

• Master's degree in Finance or Economics, or a qualification deemed equivalent.
• At least five to ten years’ experience in a similar position.
• A team player with keen analytical skills who is able to cope with stress and has a strong client-focused attitude.
• Strong communication, writing and presentation skills and able to communicate effectively with the Bank’s senior management.
• Excellent knowledge of standard IT applications and a skilled user of one or more analytical tools.
• Excellent command of German and English; French would be an asset.
