Position Overview Role Description: The client solution team is first and foremost responsible for driving our go-to-market and Merchant Solutions sales strategy, for integrating new and maintain existing partners as well as in providing customised workflow solutions to our clients and will position Merchant Solutions across divisions and functions within Deutsche Bank to ensure understanding and support leading to a lasting success (continuously educate front office, establish collaboration model with 2nd LoD etc.). You will be the link of Merchant Solutions to the market/client/partner by continuously engaging with sales/marketing and guide front office and thus indirectly fostering relevant client dialogue to further build out pipeline. You will need to have a clear view/monitor on overall leads and execution status and be first point of escalation when timelines are not being met.
Responsibilities: - The Partner Manager will nurture and maximise relationships with technology partners across commercial, technical and specialisation fronts.
- Drive Partner opportunities through the sales funnel
- Scale high priority Global Selling projects across locales to drive total business performance
- Provide sales and product training, and identifying and communicating new leads for the partnership to pursue
- Manage a complex set of internal and external stakeholders
Skills and Experiences: - Having an in-depth experience when it comes to the eCommerce market and Merchant Solutions product space, additional product knowledge on cash payments, FX and lending is beneficial.
- Working experience in client and/or partner facing role is critical, thus, being able to drive strategy execution and solution positioning with partners and/or clients
- Ability to handle the day to day 'hands-on' management of tasks, resolve problems and issues, and implement action plans to meet objectives
- Strong business acumen paired with analytical, strategic skills; identifying new business opportunities and "injecting" entrepreneurial ideas
- You should have worked in an international role before, preferably with work experience in and outside Germany and being fluent in German and English is a must, any additional language skills is nice to have
