Senior Internal Auditor - Savings, Retirement and Investment Solutions (m/w/d)

This is an incredible opportunity to join our FTSE100 Client who is one of the biggest providers of Pension, Retirement and Investment Solutions in the UK with millions of customers and billions of assets under management.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor (Audit Manager equivalent) to join our Frankfurt office. You will be responsible for:

• Ownership of delivering a complex and challenging portfolio of audits with a particular focus on operations, finance, risk, governance and financial crime audits.
• End to end planning, fieldwork and reporting of audit assignments, to time and quality adhering to methodology and quality framework set by Group and IIA standards
• Building and proactively managing relationships with key stakeholders including other assurance providers (OAPs)

What are we looking for?

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Fluent German speaker
• Proven track record as an auditor, either in multinational Internal Audit or BIG4 Internal/External Audit practice.
• Proven ability to effectively manage time, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and contribute to the efforts and accomplishments of individuals and teams throughout the organization.
• Excellent communications skills in English and German, including experience in written and oral reports and presentations to high-level management.
• Ability to proactively plan for future challenges and changes to audits / audit plan.
• Experience in managing or providing assurance over organisational change activities.
• Experience in delivering or providing assurance over process digital enhancement and automation activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills with the ability to influence at a senior level.
• Track record of continuous improvement and embracing change
• Commercial and strategic outcomes-based focus  

Desirable:

• Pensions and Assurance industry experience would be ideal or wider financial services experience preferable, but neither is essential, and we welcome applications where there is relevant audit experience.
• A professional qualification (e.g., accountancy) is preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience of auditing/reviewing financial services propositions and products would be a benefit.
• Professional services or consulting background.
