SCIB is looking for a KYC Quality and Control Intern in the Regulatory Affairs & Control team, based in our Frankfurt Office.

This internship will provide you with a unique place to acquire deep insight on corporate and financial markets. Therefore, it constitutes a gateway for international opportunities. You will join a multi-cultural team with substantial exposure to banking units across all continents and you will work on projects across our German-speaking client base:

Working as part of our KYC Quality and Control team in Frankfurt, your main priority will be managing all areas of the customer due diligence journey and fraud related incidents. The KYC and AML Intern will review KYC files, prepare monthly reports and the required administration whilst also responding to any queries which are within their remit. We want someone with an investigative style, who's able to spot anything which is out of the ordinary and knows the correct procedures to manage these incidents. 


  • First work experience gained (preferably in activities related to Corporate and Investment Banking) or a sound passion for financial concepts as well as strategic thinking. 


  • Degree in Economics, Business Management or Finance preferable. 


  • Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics)
  • Motivated, proactive behaviour, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, team player
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English. German and Spanish desirable.
  • Microsoft Office Package, proficiency level
  • Commitment to Banco Santander’s high ethical standards

Our internships last preferably six months. The precise period will be arranged individually. Please attach a copy of your supporting documentation in English and indicate your availability. Applicants who are not available during the specified period will not be considered.
