For our Team in Hamburg, we are looking for you as a

Client / Account Manager* Shipping

Your responsibilities: 

• Taking ownership of client onboarding while being in direct contact with the client
• Ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business as substantial part of the team: account management, international payments incl cash management, management of deposits as well as financial products, guarantees or conditional payments
• Being the main point of contact for our Greek based customers
• Actively moderating an exchange with internal  Berenberg stakeholders (KYC team, Compliance Team and others)

Your profile:

• Successfully completed an apprenticeship scheme as a banker and experience in Corporate Banking and/or shipping
• Excellent service orientation in an international business environment
• Open-minded to grow and learn from the international shipping team
• Structured, goal-oriented approach with high quality standards 
• Team player attitude
• Very good communication skills; advanced knowledge of written and spoken English – German and/or Greek knowledge would be beneficial
