The Computer Vision Specialist will work in the Machine Vision team within the broader Data Science Center of Excellence team and will be responsible for development & delivery of computer vision solutions in an agile tech environment.

The Computer Vision Specialist will work in the Machine Vision team within the broader Data Science Center of Excellence team and will be responsible for development & delivery of computer vision solutions in an agile tech environment.

Some of your key activities will include:

· Accountable for working with business to prepare requirements and technical feasibility study for a computer vision related project

· Accountable for designing computer vision algorithms with data engineer to deploy these algorithms within the business's infrastructure

· Accountable for developing algorithms and testing algorithms with business

· Accountable for bringing new technologies into the business and scoping digital strategy around computer vision

· Building constructive and trusting relationships with mostly remote business stakeholders

· Dealing with challenges in data acquisition from other parts of the business

· Working with different vendors to develop understanding of the state-of-the-art computer vision techniques

About the ideal candidate:

Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:

· Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, computer vision, machine learning or relevant areas

· Proven practical experience with relevant topics in computer vision and machine learning

· Practical experience on designing and developing real-time Computer Vision algorithms on edge devices is highly preferred

· Experience with one of the following deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or Caffe2, etc

· Seasoned Python programmer

· Comfortable working/coding on Linux

· Experience with Convolutional Neural Nets; in particular we will need experience with:

o Image Classification/object detection / semantic segmentation

o Object recognition and scene understanding

o Human activity recognition

· Following skills are nice to have but not essential:

o Strong background in optimisation/ numerical linear algebra

o Strong background in probabilistic estimation

o Experience with Recurrent Neural Nets/LSTMs

o GAN

o Reinforcement Learning
