Finance Manager/Controller (IFRS), 6 month FTC
Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets division has an opportunity for a Finance Manager/Controller to join the Real Estate team in Munich. This particular team is responsible for Financial Management.
In this role you will support Group Accounting and Group Controlling as well as consolidation tasks will be part of the day to day business. You will participate in all relevant steps, starting with supervising and controlling single financial statements under IFRS up to driving the group consolidation and act as a key contact for internal and external requests.
Your responsibilities will require you to:
- provide ongoing supervising/controlling of various Fund entities
- provide quality assurance and approval of monthly/quarterly and year-end financial statements (Local Gaap and IFRS)
- conduct technical supervision of international SPV's, in addition to being the key contact person for tax advisors, auditors and local accountants
- support and provide technical advisory/review function of consolidation processes in SAP SEM-BCS
- conduct quality assurance and review function of investor reportings
- be the key contact person for tax requests, portfolio and asset management, and AIFM and investors
Your technical competencies will enable you to deal with complex group structures and accounting and tax issues, partnered with experience and understanding of accounting and multi-currency environments will be well utilised in this role.
Your experience in Private Equity, Infrastructure and Real Assets and/or Real Estate will be beneficial in this role.
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be a highly motivated, proactive and resilient individual. You will demonstrate sound business judgement and possess strong interpersonal skills which will give you the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
Finally, you will be degree-educated, preferably in Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Finance and Accounting and you will be fluent in German and English. About Macquarie Asset Management
