Are you passionate about investment topics and want to kickstart your professional career? Then join the Graduate Program with a focus on Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) at AIM in Munich!

Key responsibilities

During the course of the program, you will be working with different teams and functions. Onboarding activities will complement your start within AIM. Your stations during the program will be as follows:

• ALM / SAA Global Functions in Munich
• ALM in one or two of our hubs (Paris, Milan, Minneapolis or Munich/Stuttgart)
• Global Functions in Munich (Investment Strategy, Financial Control or similar)
   

You will apply Machine Learning algorithms to optimize SAA for the Allianz investment portfolios. You will learn how to enlarge traditional risk measures with emerging risk factors such as climate risk. You will support the development of innovative new savings product propositions. You will evaluate investment strategies and asset allocation decisions in a multi-dimensional environment and make recommendations for implementation. You will be integrated within the international AIM organization and share best practices with other teams of AIM. 

At the end of the program, you will be assigned a permanent position within ALM.

Key requirements/skills/experience

• Do you belong to the top 20 % of your university program focusing on finance, business administration, economics, mathematics, physics, statistics or similar?
• Are you keen on working in the investment or asset management function?
• Have you gained first working experiences (e.g. internship with financial service provider)?
• Are you experienced in data analysis and programming (Python, Visual Basic, C/C++ or other programming languages)?
• Are you skilled in Machine learning techniques?
• Are you fluent in English?
• Are you a team player and enjoy working in a global team?
• Do you possess strong interpersonal and communication skills?
