Investment Associate, Infrastructure Co-investments and Fund of Funds, Munich, Germany

About our client
Our client is a leading European multi-asset investor, who are looking to hire an Associate to join their Infrastructure team based in Munich, to focus on fund and co-investments. This is a high performing, dynamic, and fast growing team working in a space that will face huge growth in the coming years.
What the job involves

• Participation across all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, screening, due diligence, and monitoring of existing investment portfolios
• Conducting due diligence reviews of co-investments and fund investments within Infrastructure
• Assist in building and leveraging existing relationships with internal stakeholders, GPs and investors
• Participation in the selection and execution of investments, in particular the preparation of due diligence reports for investment recommendations
• Presentation of investment opportunities to colleagues and internal committees
• Monitoring of existing investment portfolios and provision of investment updates

Who we are looking for

• 2:1 or above undergraduate degree from a leading university (or equivalent national grade), with a master's degree in economics or a finance related course preferred
• Experience working in Infrastructure, private equity, M&A, leveraged finance, project finance, or management consulting
• Highly numerate, with strong technical and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to converse openly with seniority, both internally and externally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
