We are looking for an entrepreneurial mid to senior level private equity investor to join this exciting consolidation play in the German services market. Our client has a record stretching over 25 years of building multiple platforms in this fashion and has a highly supportive group of private investors ready to back this new project. You would join a team who have already started to identify and approach target businesses and play a lead role in growing this pipeline, and of course executing and integrating acquisitions. The position offers very extensive responsibility and the chance for a material capital gain.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Drive the ongoing acquisition programme from sourcing targets to building relationships and leading negotiations
- Supervise diligence and investment approval from the fund partners
- Manage the ongoing integration of acquisitions and develop the whole group through to exit medium term
YOUR PROFILE: - You should bring meaningful mid cap private equity experience and a proven ability to lead the deal process independently.
- There is no need for any specific sector experience; more important is a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, and a willingness to take the lead and drive projects forward personally
- You need to bring a balance between strong people skills and the ability to win relationships, and the practical execution toolkit to make it all happen
- The role is focused on the German market and so native level German language, plus fluent English, are required
