About the Role

We are looking for you to join us as Key Account Manager for our National and International Key Accounts.

The role is to further develop relationships with existing retailers and manage key account relationships.  

As would be expected, a fair amount of time is spent visiting customers at head office level, in addition, you will have local team responsibility to drive customer retention, growth and excellent service levels at store level with our retail customers. 

For this role you will be expected to be out in the field as well. Our German Headquarters are based in Munich, Germany. You will be reporting to the Head of Key Account Management. 

 

What you will do  

On a day to day basis you will be required to carry out the following activities:

 

  • Visit our key accounts in Germany and ensure they have excellent knowledge of our business and service
  • Hold regular training sessions
  • Plan and execute trainings and marketing campaigns for key retailers
  • Manage head office relationships to ensure development and growth of the business
  • Produce and distribute statistics and information to Head Offices and stores in your region
  • Work with partner companies to introduce complimentary services
  • Renegotiate agreements with existing customers, and win business with new stores
  • Build and execute strategic account plans to drive retailer growth
  • Extend and drive Planet’s Intelligence and Consulting value proposition with our key accounts

 

Who you are

 

A Sales professional with Business - to - Business Sales experience. 
 

What you will need 

 

  • To be a self-starter and be able to work as part of a team
  • An outstanding sales track record and ability to convince, sell and close additional services and products within an existing client portfolio
  • To be confident and successful during calls and visits
  • To be a relationship builder with strong service attitude
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent German communication and presentation skills; excellent business English is required
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience
  • Experience in the electronic payment solutions /ePOS / POS industry desireable
  • A University degree
