Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in operations (including accounting), audit or legal ideally at an asset management firm or fund or a comparable environment such as a bank or an auditing firm
  • Previous exposure to regulatory (e.g. AIFMD, MiFID II) requirements in Europe and/or Germany
  • Distinct academic record from a leading university
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented mind with the ability to adapt
  • Fluency in German as well as English is mandatory (especially in a legal context)

Role:

To manage our growth, we are looking for an exceptional individual to become operations manager and who has the potential to become a COO and therefore part of the Management Board in two to four years’ time.

The Senior Operations Manager’s tasks will include:

  • Closely working with the fund administrator and depositary in Luxembourg, two Prime Brokers in London and numerous other international brokers. This includes regular travel.
  • Contract management
  • Trade reconciliation and ensuring the accuracy of transaction bookings in the system
  • Keeping up to date about regulatory changes and implementing such changes in the organisation
  • Ad-hoc assistance in Transaction Management / Portfolio Management tasks where required
  • Liaising with clients and prospects in the due diligence process
  • All other operational tasks which may require focused attention
