An amazing permanent opportunity to work for a leading European financial organisation as a Risk IT Analyst. Potential candidates for this position will require a strong IT technical background and solid financial knowledge across most asset classes.
The Opportunity
This client of ours is looking for someone who will act as a Risk IT and Reporting Analyst helping strengthen the Risk Department, which is in charge of designing risk standards that the front-line Risk teams must operate within.
This would be a chance to work for a business that is constantly looking for new methods to stay ahead of competitors and keep on delivering a fantastic service for their clients and stakeholders. It will be a key position within this area of the business.
This role will involve
- Translating functional requirements into clear and detailed specifications involved in key design principle; data models; tools required for development
- Database construction and implementation of Risk reporting
- Produce documentation around architecture, data models and business rules
- Assisting the Risk team for IT and Systems related matters
- Performing testing and using it to validate programs and processes
- Maintaining numerous SAS programs and acting as support on administrative processes
Key requirements
- A strong analytical focus with the affinity for complex problem-solving
- Key understanding of the fundamentals in financial markets
- Essential to have a good knowledge on developing languages: (SQL, SAS, VBA). R and Python would be a plus
- Skills in database building and statistical analysis
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical role
- Team player with a pro-active attitude
- Excellent communication in both written and oral English and French
