The role

We are seeking an experienced Sales professional to join our Distribution team as part of a dynamic work environment. This is full time role (100%) based in Zurich, Switzerland

The successful candidate will cover the Wholesale and Institutional Market in Switzerland with a proactive, structured and disciplined approach to selling the company's investment products. The candidate will also maintain and develop key client relationships for long-term retention and collaborate directly with the Head of Products and Distribution to implement the sales strategy.

Main responsibilities

  • Build, establish and maintain professional business relationships with Wholesale and institutional investors
  • Develop and implement a structured and targeted sales strategy for Private Assets
  • Identify and develop new investor relationships and market opportunities
  • Expand and maintain consultant network and relationships
  • Understanding client needs to ensure that products/solutions are accordingly implemented and managed
  • Advise and develop existing relationships and promote new investment solutions for the relevant investor
  • Active contribution to product and marketing strategy development
  • Represent the company at and organise networking events in Switzerland
  • Proactive screening for RFP opportunities and coordination of client due diligence events
  • Maintain close and collaborative relationship with the Investment Management, Marketing and Distribution teams and other stakeholders of the company
  • Act in compliance with applicable regulations in the respective market(s)
  • Timely and accurate maintenance of the CRM system content

Qualifications, experience and other personal attributes

  • Proven track record in acquiring new institutional clients/net new money
  • Demonstrable existing network with institutional clients (family offices, banks, wealth managers, IAMs, pension funds, etc.) and consultants
  • Strong client and service orientation, strong communication skills
  • Deep understanding of wholesale and Institutional clients, their investment needs and restrictions
  • Understanding of capital markets, ability to lead asset allocation discussions and ability to link discussion outcome to Twelve Capital's product offering
  • Awareness of competitor propositions and wider market trends in investment strategy
  • Understanding of regulatory framework applicable to Distribution and Products in different jurisdictions
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within asset management or banking in a similar function
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas such as finance, asset management, economics, capital markets, business administration; CFA or CIIA preferred
  • Excellent command of English and other language skills required for the target market (German, French, etc.) is advantageous
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Proactive, hands-on approach

  • Ability to work independently and under high pressure
  • Strong workflow management and prioritisation
