Strategy Manager, Investor-Backed Travel Business, Munich, Germany

Our client is one of the largest tour operators in Germany and Europe, backed by an entrepreneurial investor. The firm offers a full range of tours with destinations across the globe. To support the team in their ambitious growth plans, they are now looking to hire a Strategy Manager. In this role, you will be driving the Group's optimisation. The position is based in Munich, Germany.

What the job involves

• You will be part of the core Strategy Team, focusing on developing and delivering the future Group strategy and driving performance to enhance the value of the Group
• Develop and coordinate new business analytics and metrics across business units to facilitate data-driven decision making on strategy and evaluation of performance
• Develop and provide commercial analysis and strategic thinking to the initiatives implemented by the Group
• Translate the strategy into specific objectives and KPIs
• Support corporate finance activities, including partnerships, alliances and M&A initiatives

Who we are looking for

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines; an additional qualification, such as CFA, CIIA, is a plus
• Significant professional experience in a strategy consultancy or Big 4 consulting firm
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Excellent MS-Office skills, in particular Excel
• Self-starter, pro-active teamplayer
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• You are motivated, hands-on and have an eye for detail
• Fluency in German and English is required
