University students who are curious about insurance, passionate learners and thrive in a fast-changing environment.

Internship Period: 12 June 2023 to 18 August 2023

The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.

What you will learn and contribute:

Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Finance ,

In the Integrated Reporting & Analytics team, you may be involved in:

• Finance closing & consolidation processes
• Financial Reporting and analytics
• Internal Controls and governance process for the group
• Project support and coordination

In the Management Reporting & Planning team, you may be involved in:

• User requirement collection, testing and rollout of the Group-wide finance management information system
• Data verification and preparation of management reports
• Strategic planning template revamp and budget data verification

In the Group CFO Office , you may be involved in:

• Execution or project management of finance initiatives
• Virtue, written and face to face communication with finance management and stakeholders
• Content creation for Finance intranet
• Planning and execution of finance events

In the Group Sourcing team, you may be involved in

• Automation and enhancement of multiple user-input forms/ templates used for Sourcing/Procurement
• New data collection and analytics
• Sourcing Digitalisation Tool user experience enhancement

You may also be involved in other Finance areas such as Capital Management , Treasury and Investor Relations . The opportunity will equip the candidates with better understanding in the head office finance function of a large world leading insurance organisation.

What you will need:

• Students from all background and disciplines who are in your penultimate year of study
• Excellen t tea m playe r an d passionat e learner
• Ability t o multi-task , quic k t o adap t an d abl e t o wor k i n fas t changin g environment
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong computer skills required, well versed in Microsoft Office
