We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an AVP Customer Portfolio Manager CPM, BB.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Conduct Know-Your-Customer activities mainly through customer calls, desktop search and references to internal information in support of the Financial Crime Investigation function on the Business Banking Portfolio-Managed customers to ensure investigation results are in-line with regulatory, compliance, internal standards and fit-for-purpose
  • Make recommendation on next steps based on information collected through KYC activities
  • Track and monitor the end-to-end process to facilitate management control and oversight
  • Work with the different levels of FCC to ensure end-to-end efficiency and effectiveness in the process in the daily activities
  • Share best practices with team members on KYC/RFI
  • Explore business opportunity and make quality business referrals to appropriate parties in HSBC

Requirements

  • University graduate with a degree in business, finance or a related discipline, preferably with some sales and service experience in banking
  • Sound banking operation and compliance knowledge
  • Details conscious with good analytical reasoning
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
  • Sound communication skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
  • Fundamental commercial products knowledge is an advantage
